How to write a great article

As a writer, if you want to gain publicity and visitors to your sites, then you need to write good quality articles that have great relevant content and are search engine friendly. Another way is to submit the articles to a site that is search engine friendly. These websites should be the same that deal in the same niche subject.

Well for starters, pregnancy articles are irrelevant on a travel website. Pregnant women and their family are interested in articles relating to babies, medication, foods, before and after pregnancy. Travel articles should talk abut places to travel, vacation packages, airline and hotel deals, discounts and freebies offered, special schemes that are been offered by tour operators etc.

This means that if the articles are travel based, then they should be submitted to the websites that talk about travel only. Let’s talk about the points that should be covered while writing

The Basic framework
The articles should be written in simple English which can be easily understood. The language should be simple, the sentences short and precise. Write between 300 – 500 words. This keeps the interest of the writer. Clearly state what the topic is and use paragraphs and bullet points to catch the eye of the reader.

Title
The title should include the keywords and briefly state what the article is about. Title shouldn’t be lengthy and get straight to the point. It’s the job of the body article t do the rest.

Keyword density
Keyword density is required, since it will show up in search engines. Don’t do keyword filing and ensure that keywords are evenly spread out in the article. A keyword density of 2% is usually enough to make it to the search engines.

 If it’s a good article, then people will read it whether it has high keyword density Use programs that show your keyword density in the article. There are several free keyword density programs available.

Link to your website
Provide a link back to your homepage or inner pages. This way visitor would also visit your site and you would get traffic. Your website should have the articles neatly written according t the topics. Categorize them and then see the traffic flow.

Book mark the articles with various sites
When the articles that you have written have been published on the internet, consider using bookmarks. There are a number of bookmarks available such as Delicious, Reddit, Digg and Stumble Upon.  Book marks also deliver substantial traffic to your website. In this way you are increasing the revenue for the website.

It’s important to write frequently
People and search engines are looking for new content and new articles. The same old topics are absolute and people need fresh insights. Write frequently and be read by more people. Your quality articles would have a large audience.
